Lombard Steam Log Hauler (progress report)

Here is an update on the lombard. I came to the conclusion that I had to make my own track pads and drive chains. Since this will be a static model there is no need to have either component functional.
I cut teeth in the exposed parts of the chain gears. the chain is 2.5mm H plastc that I drilled out every 2.5mm. I alsomachined puta bunch of tack pads



the pads are held in place with foil duct tape


This is the almost completed track assembly in a mock up. still have some more pieces to add.

The firewood has arrived and the crew while still in promer are starting to make some steam
