Bet it made for a rough and noisy ride with that trailer in the carry position and the front duels of the trailer sitting on a cross balance and the rear ones in free flight.
Tough looking rig though.

bet it was wet, cold, dusty and so on with that open cab!
Looks a bit to shiny & dent free to have ever spent much time in the bush......

My neighbor ran a fleet of these in the late '40's. Some were open or I should say "soft" tops like a raodster pickup and the others a hardtop. Black fenders with red bodies. I tried to get photo's from his son who is still in the trucking business but after more than a year the chance died to empty promises. Mike
