Since i am not a big fan of chrome or sleepers, this is more in line. A old Silver State Specialties Pete 380 kit, made a little heavier to a 390. New front fenders rolled in brass, 13.5 x 24 tires all around, scratch frame, Autocar Dumptruck rear bogie. All scratch Hockensmith "Penn" type rock body. Ap40 Attachments:

Rick, That is real nice. I like your conversions to heavy duty work trucks. Just totally awesome work! What is the angle on the scow end? Do you have the plans for the body?
Be Well Marc

AITM now has a all new cab kit for the same vintage Pete 350. The patterns were done by Gary Johnson, this kit could be easily reworked into a 380 or 390.

I have always believed that "chrome don't get you home", but good maintanence will.

They should have named quarry trucks "Timex" Cause they sure took a beating and kept on ticking. Mike

Ap40 Marc, Sorry for the slow response, the angle i use most often is 12 degrees off the horizontal plane. I have drawings for some that show as little as 10 degrees & as much as 25, but that is for larger quarry types. Ap40
