I like the Harley edition grill so much better than the stock Lonestar. Great job so far!

Hi, I just stumbled across this forum today when I was doing a search for some reference material on the Lonestar I'm building. Like you I much prefer the HD version of this truck and love the work you've put into the engine chassis & interior of your build.
I've gone a slightly different way with mine, I have modified the wheels, bumper, bonnet (including the correct headlights) & sun visor to the HD style. I've also given it an extra drive axle and put the recovery body on it from the Can Do wrecker.
I'm just waiting on the custom Decals and some final PE detailing to arrive (the fuel tank & battery box steps), then i'll be adding the final details.
Here's where I'm at so far

Looks nice, BUT you should start this on a separate thread. Ap40

Ap40, I wasn't trying to hijack the thread (I'm on enough of these forums to know protocol), I was commenting on the thread at hand whilst also showing that the modifications the builder mentioned initially can be done with not a lot of effort.

I like your build here, I am building this kit too, nice to see one finished up. The extra detailing is nicely done.
