I am thinking about cutting the Monogram Mack AC up and building a tractor. I can't find any pictures of anything that old used as a tractor. Would your triple tires be appropriate? I don't want to go pneumatic tires since this truck would be a companion to the stock dump. I want to maintain the look.
WT-201 Mack AC rear with triple tires.
WT-201, $5.50 each
My thought is an old truck used in a quarry or an open pit coal mine and modified by the owner. My next question would be the fifth wheel. I have found pictures of a few in the 1930s, which would be fine, but I'm lost. Any suggestions? As you know, I know next to nothing about Macks of any era. The chain drives just interest me and I am burned out on the modern stuff.
Thanks for you help!!!!!
Robert
