Been quiet on the trailer front recently but hauling (1/24 scale) beer is not forgotten, Micro-Mark O scale rivet decals being used for fastener detail. For a smooth side trailer it is surprising how much "texture" there actually is. Door hardware made up from styrene strip, 3/64 brass rod and 1/16 x .006 wall brass tube. Handles are from the container trailer kit. White metal cleats from Model Shipways detail parts selection used for cast latches on trailer itself.

I'd love to have a couple of the nose cones. You're going way out on these.

Modelling time has been limited recently so not a lot of progress to report, however there is a coat of primer applied and glad hand/electrical hook up installed. Plaskit glad hands and trailer plug used, drilled out for .020 brass wire which will slip inside wire insulation used for lines. .016 sheet aluminum mounting plate, 3/64 brass rod and .040 square styrene strip used for fittings connecting glad hands to plate. (It would have been soooooo much easier if Labatt's had spec'd a simpler installation....... )

Nice work there Rob, those water slide rivets are fantastic. Great detail on the trailer connections.

Thanks guys, credit for detail work goes to Daniel (Plaskit), his connected glad hands and trailer plug are very nicely made detail parts. Having items like that - and the waterslide rivets - available is a real blessing.
