In tha picture its not quite finished it has stake straps now.

calscustoms; If your talking about the picture of the real one there is no stakes. They used "Cheese Blocks" in the old days. On this unit they simply chained the log to the bunks. Mike

Ya it sure does fit in that one of the Jaycee trucks that they took to Washington D.C. every year they always had a 1 log load on em thats a beautiful truck

Tufftin that cabover you have in that picture is the 1973 Oregon Jaycee truck, I'm in the process of building it right now.

Rick. We always thought that an LT was loaded sitting empty as they did weigh a bit with all the logging equipment and water tanks full. Mike

My old LJ2DX rock truck was a real kidney puncher. 65K rears on triple frame, Mack camel back springs, spoke wheels on 12x24" rubber. Not even a air seat, ran in a quarry its whole life, even at 30 mph it still gave a sore back at the end of every shift.
