Rick, Another possible conversion, would be to make it into a rubber tired dozer!! :-) I believe that International made them? I know that Michigan did!

Ah, zut! As if the 10,402 kit projects on my waiting list aren't enough, NOW I can see at least that many more inspired by what is available in the toy section.......... If you hadn't used the title "From a toy to a model" I wouldn't have guessed the origin of this one. A fine replica!

Thanks Rob, Preiser no longer makes the loader & they are getting harder to find. toys in the modern world are less & less like anything in the real world, but the good ones certainly do add to the need to model........ I missed this one on the first posting... It is great! I enjoyed looking at it and thinking of the possibilities for other builds.
