Its too bad that the snitch couldn't slow rig down and save the drivers life.
But the Tacograph is/was like the black box in an airliner. Crucial info after the crash!

I remember both the wig wag and the tachometer, in fact going throuh my dads stuff I found a wigwag and a couple of the old tachographs.
I remember watching the wig wag in the truck my dad use to drive, it was a 1962 kenworth. That wig wag was kind of like magic to me at the time.. Great memories.

Never had a WigWag in any of our company trucks, but did have one in an old IHC school bus that I drove for our Boy Scout Troop. Put MANY thousands of miles on that old girl every summer. The WigWag also mesmerized some of the scouts, watching it flip up by itself as the air built up every morning.
