From the look of the tanks I would say Autocar?? I like the scraped paint on the beam! I like the blue. Will have t wait till spring.................. :-( Be Well Gator Gator, thanks & glad you like. well the tanks are from a Autocar & mounted on a Western Star chassis. The cab & hood remain to be seen. As for the reach, it is not done, you are seeing putty & primer, not the finished tube. Ap40

Hi. Wow!!! I sure hope this thing hauls off highway. That reach will take out every wire that crosses the road. I think your wheel base is too short. Rear axles seem too close to the cab, and your tail frame and stinger seem way to long. Nice work anyways. Doug.

Dang it, same issue with the reach. so i will saw off a few feet & re-cap the back end of the reach. Far too much stuff has been done to the chassis to tear it all apart to add length. Lessons learned for the next one. This one is NOT a offy, so it will be a low usage highway type. Thanks for the feedback Doug. Ap40

Great details, and a quick build you say..... it would probably take me months to add that level of detail, excellent work ! JIMMY

I was just thinking about this project today. It’s been 5 years or so. I’m still at a loss for the hood.
I was thinking about Autocar cabs and what you did to yours to update the AMT cab.
