Arrow Transport KW Cabover and Pup Trailer Chip Truck

Hi. Built this a number of years ago. Finally got around to taking some better pictures ofit. It represents a truck I remember being in Quesnel BC when I was growing up. Arrow Transport, a bulk carrier based in Vancouver BC had various divsions around BC, hauled chips from various mills in the Caribou Region to Caribou Pulp in Quesnel. The model is made from the parts bin and some scratch building. The day cab was giving to me in a box of parts, along with the frame from the AMT KW Aerodyne cabover kit. The chip box and pup trailer were scratch built. The rear doors are hinged and are opened by releaseing the lock lever. I filled the boxes with styrafoam blocks then poured real doug fir saw dust (from tablesaw, perfect scale size)over top. The cover nets are pantyhose!! Thanks Doug

Super build Doug! Man talk about having to flog a Drip-tiot! That V-6 would be a whole lot of shifting to pull a hill with a lod on her back & in the pup.

Excellent scratch building, like the turbo 8v71 Detroit, had one in a Brigadier I drove a while back, awesome unique build.
