Thank you Rick. The ladders is were I have spent the most time. I think i have them as good as I m going to get them 22 hours in sanding filling and sanding some more.

Here are some updates on this project. I haven't been working on it as much as I would like. Attending college full time is taking more time than a full time job. But anyway here are some of the things I have accomplished.

The body is painted and attached to the frame as well as the drive wheels. I used BMF for all the compartment hinges.







The cab is all painted and I happy with the results. M/M Classic black over Testors Dark Red. I just started to paint the sliver trim by hand.

The red and black looks pretty good!IT also looks like you are doing a good job on the silver trim.

Thank you guys for the kind words. I have to get moving on the ladders once they are complete, I think this build will be on the down hill side.

I found some time and have the ladders into there top coat of aluminum. I have about 30 hrs into cleaning sanding, filling and priming these things.





I have the cab trim painted I just need to add the gold BMF trim that separates the black and red.







The last two pictures are the interior built up and the front bumper completed. I used pins to represent the bolts.

It looks like you are making some serious headway towards finishing this one! I like what I see. No doubt in my mind that the end product will be impressive.

Played around with this monster tonight. I have the gold BMF band done. The front tires are mounted and the cab is mocked up. Now I have a pile of small parts that need cleaning and then Alcad.
