Anyone have a suggestion? Hi Kerry, Here you go: www.industrialtouchup.com/ Everything is in rattle can, super high quality paint. can easily be de-canned for airbrushing. use the navigation bar to the left, all vintages of Cat colors are shown. I have used the Euclid green and Koehring colors. Very nice all around. Well worth getting a Fan deck of color chips for spot on references. Ap40

Kerry, AS for the glass being flush with the cab skin, try the sandwich method and an lip aro.nd the opening. Or maybe someone else would have an other idea on how to deal with that issue?

Hey thanks Richard on the paint tip. The Fan Deck is on it's way. I have mixed paints before, trying to get it right and I've got close but just not right...this will help a lot. Gator I am going to try a couple of ways and see which is gonna work best for me. All I need is some time to do it..lol...On my crane, I custom cut each glass pane and it took a long time to get them right, I was trying to avoid doing that for this one but maybe it is needed. Thanks so much guys
Kerry Keep it real

The photos are VERY cool.................can't wait to see more. Never worked a 160H, but did run a 16G for a while...........awesome machine and can definitely see the family resemblance! NICE WORK!

Why does the steer axle rocks or pivots back and to?? As in when grading a dirt road and the grader gets in the ditch the front wheels will rock too one side or the other.

Clayton, are you asking why the front tires do that?

Kerry, That is looking pretty good. It is a shame you don't have more time to work on it.

Kerry kinda dropped out of sight. Haven't heard from him since the last post here. If you are interested he also built a crawler crane that is also very nice. As for the front wheels leaning from one side to the other. It is to aid in steering traction.
