I'm guessing an 8. He told me a story down in FLA, were someone got a D8 stuck in the muck,he was the only one to get it out.

It looks more like a D9 to me, going buy the size of the exhaust pipe. I also think it says d9 on the side as well but not sure. What ever it is it sure is a great picture I really like those old cats. Thanks for sharing. Dave

Growing up we had a D8 2u that had a crank start poney motor, and I loved playing on that thing. Just love the older equipoment it took real operators to run those. Dave

Yea I wonder what happened with some of that older stuff as well. I also would like to see some of the younger operators of today try to run some of that older stuff, I am sure there would be a lot of crying going on. Would be fun to watch. Dave
