Well, I finally finished my 1/144 scale Macchi C200AS "Saetta". I wanted to show the aircraft in flight, so I made a little display base from a Pioneer Plastics Football Display Case. The groundwork (such as it is) is Woodland Scenics Scene-a-Rama Desert Sand. I tried to get a full view shot: Here are some shots of the aircraft: (Even though this one is blurry, I kind of like it that way) I'm going to try to get some better pictures. Here is a little history of the C200: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macchi_C.200

Jim, those planes are pretty cool. Your desert could use a little varied topography! lol can you say Sand dunes??

Thanks, Gator. Yes, I know my groundwork leaves a lot to be desired, but it's more of a display than a diorama. I'd like to do some more aircraft in this scale (F86 v MiG-15, P51, F6F-N maybe). We'll see what happens. At least with the F86 & MiG-15 I won't have to worry about props!
