And a few more: Sorry about the quality of some of them (I haven't got around to cleaning them up yet). I also have a number of plans of the Bailey trailers and dolly's but these are very hard to see, till I process a little bit. If anyone required high resolution just let me know and I'll flick them through. Enjoy

Nice looking Pacifics. Did you see many of them in NZ?

Very interesting drawings! I like the look of the Pacific's. but not enough to attempt a build from scratch!

Jim - Not a lot of Pacific's left running now, a few on heavy haulage and I believe only a handful left on logs now. Most got scrapped when the Euro trash started arriving (cheaper, safer, more comfy). Gator - go on, do a scratch build, you know you want to .

Am I safe to assume that you are not a fan of Euro trucks? We don't see many Euro trucks here in the US. Even the Volvo VNs are built here specifically for the US & Canadian markets. Scania & Mercedes imported some conventionals back in the 1980s, but they're all gone now. What Euro trucks do you see down there?

Hi Jim, I will admit that the Euro's are nice and easy to drive with very good creature comfort but they lack 'character' or to use one of my terms "they are like McDonalds" - everything looks the same. And don't get me started on all the electronic guff - was asked to do some relief driving in 2012 (brand new Volvo FM) it didn't even have a manual dipstick !. New Zealand probably has the most diverse array of trucks anywhere in the world (= with Oz), the entire US, Euro and Japanese range are available. A good web forum to view the range is - link (X Trucking Forum), or if you just want a quick look around - link. You need to register for the forum but well worth it, has a huge gallery of all the makes operated, past & present. Another good site to see the selection is on Flickr - just use the search engine and use tags such as NZ trucks. HTH.

Thank you for posting the pictures and plans of the different Pacific's used in NZ. The last P-10 is my favorite.

No problems. If anyone wants the plans full size, just let me know and I'll send them through.
