Speaking of Mini Lindi's, here is one of the later series you guys mentioned, past the "Hi Rollers" and to the "Snap Fit" series
This is how they went together but I had done a few mods already, up-graded the wheels, lengthened the chassis and added some half fenders. I think these were out in the mid to late 80's, there was also a GMC Astro -which I have one of- they were certainly well detailed for the time and very well proportioned, better then the earlier series!
Now for the restoration of this one, the 110" version -they also had a slab cab- which catered to the O/O in the trucking world. As you can see I had already given it several lives
and now, the Hard fan Paint scheme in 3 shades of red, the primary colour being Ford's Strawberry Red.
Here it is with many new detail items, scratch built visor, turn signals, exhaust stack of aluminum tube, Dennis Aust resin front wheels, A-Line 2 hole rears, stainless half fenders, mudflaps and mirrors
