I started this forum as there are a lot of modelers out there who have at one time or are now working in one form or another in the Timber Industry here in the USA and also abroad in other countries of the world.
There are others who haven't experienced the field but have interests in building the equipment from their area of the world. Where ever there are trees, someone is logging them and some one is building models of the equipment which is involved, whether it be old or new.
Here you can discuss the industry, Post builds of trucks (Lumber, Logging,Ect.) equipment (Cats, Loaders, Yarders,Skidders, Ect), Logging railroads(Motive Power, rolling stock) or what have you from the turn of the century to modern days. It doesn't matter. Scale is no problem either, show em all.
Those who do not model the industry, there is a section for you also to post your builds, What ever they may be and what ever media used to build with, wood , plastic, metal and so forth, doesn't matter. Show em.
Whether you are male, female or child and you are a builder of models, you are welcome to join this Forum and participate in it's going ons.
A final note to prospective members, Read the rules closely, if you can't abide by our rules, don't join.
