Hello, Happy New Year, Hope everybody had a good Christmas. Had some time off work so I put in some serious modelling time. Got the front suspension and steering pretty much done , few little details to add. Had fun getting that double arm steering system to work. Same thing with rear suspension, getting all parts together and setting the torsion arms up so they work. Thanks Doug. Excellent job on the steering & suspension. That's a lot of good detail work.

Hi, as with most of everybody else, doing the social distancing and staying safe here in BC CANADA. Getting lots of modelling done. Working on Pacific still, project took a few back steps to correct cab height so I figured it would be a good time to tackle the plumbing, air line, electrical and water. Water is for brake cooling. Air tank brackets made from K&S brass tube with 1 side filed off to make channel. Then bend to shape with mounting holes drilled. Air tanks are styrene tube with cone shape ends made on cnc. Plumbing is mostly vinyl covered wire. The only exception is the lines from the relay valves to the brake chambers, as the suspension moves I needed something that would move realistically like rubber hose. Raided the flytying supplies(my other hobby), rubber leg material, use a piece of wire vinyl to make a joiner. Fuel tank were made by turning down a piece of pvc plumbing pipe to correct scale diameter, making the domed ends on cnc again, and gluing to tube cut to length. Fuel tank brackets are 5 pieces each, 2 straight parts that make the L , the upright bolts to frame rail, the curve saddle is 3 pieces, 2 curved sides with flat face. These were a bit of a bugger to glue together, but worked well. This really is an impressive amount of detail. Nicely done. Too bad there really isn't anyone here anymore to enjoy it.
