I use the blade method also. It just seems a little more kosher and works best for me.

I have not tried the thread but thought it a useful tip. I use my Exacto blade but I turn the sharp side up when following a pre-cast line or seam. So basically, cutting it with the dull side. Mike

Thats the same tech I use Mike. Once I get the cut thin enough I then pop the door or what have you out. Takes a while but worth it in the end.

Hi. I was told about that method awhile ago. I used it to cut the doors out on the silver Dodge service truck box. I tied the thread to my flex sander holder. The U shaped one that takes the sanding strips with the loops on the end. Worked like a fret saw. Thanks Doug. Attachments:
