Here's a couple of scratch built steel models, The skidder is a departure from my normal building, it being a currently available piece logging equipment. Take care, Fred Attachments:

Okay everyone I want you to know I know fred and have personally seen these models up close and they are fantastic builds right down to the smallest detail! He cuts and fabricates all his models out of steel and builds some very impressive rigs.
Fred the Yarder has always been my favorite and it was a monster when you had it at the show. Very impressive model.
The Swamp Loggers Tigercat is also another of my favorites.
Outstanding work there, Bud, on both models and welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the board. Now then, how about some more pictures of the yarder, perhaps some build pictures. It is a great model and something not offered anyplace. Scratch building amazes me and you go a step further by using metal.
And Fred.................................... I lived in Eatonville for 35 years and my son is still there and logging. Oh, in the '60's I hauled a load of shakes from a mill in Onalaska named Hart Shake Co. Mike
