This Brockway 361TL was scratch built for the owner of the actual truck. The truck has appeared in many east cost truck shows. I used a Diamond Reo chassis, added a resin cast DDC 6-71N & a fuller 10 speed. start to finish, 4 weeks. Ap40 Attachments:

Really well done model, Rick. Back in the late sixties and early seventies, down in Miami, Brockways were the truck of choice for the Cuban immigrants . They could get a 1%govt loan .And there was a lot of work on the highway system down there at the time. So that model does bring back memories of when I first got into running equipment. ASs I loaded many of them!
Be Well Gator

Were the Brockway a very good truck, I do not know muck about them. Dave Dave, Very well built truck, all done by hand & to order. in the early 1970's they were purchased by Mack, then in late 1976 they went on strike so Mother Mack shut the doors by 1977. there are many from the 60's & 70's still working here on the east cost. and many more that are in private collections. There is a Brockway museum in Cortland NY ( at the old plant) and they hold a annual all Brockway show each summer. I have attended many shows, and have driven a few. very tough truck, i doubt any of today's young & spoiled kids driving truck would last more than a day in one, but that is another discussion. Thanks for the info on them Richard, I am going to find the time to find out more about them. And I know what you mean about the young drivers of today, ask somebody to drive a truck without power steering and see what happens Like you said though a discussion for another day. Dave

Dave Dave, If you search on youtube for Brockway parade you can see some of the the pre-show & hear a few wound up drip-triots in action. Rick
