Now that is an outstanding moel and dio. The B&W puts in the era of operation. Great job Carl, a real master piece of North Eastern Logging.

Nice, I agree with William, the B&W adds to it. Perhaps a jacket on the poor bugger up front steering the beast, other wise he is liable to get a bit chilled. Rick

Here are some more pictures of the finished version of the Lombard. In order to get it all in one picture I had to do some serious cropping or build a composite picture. Here are a few other shots of the project. Thanks everyone for all the positive feedback that I have received on this project. I think I'll try to find something easier to do next. Carl. The dio is outstanding. Makes me shiver just to look at it until I see the smoke and steam coming from the locy. What a wonderful project from start to finish. Mike

A really cool piece Carl, A pleasure to look at this piece of history and craftmanship. I agree with Dave. The driver up front has a tough, cold job. I'm sure after a little time, he would have some really big arms turning that thing. Super build. Kerry
