Tuff, this may work for you. I see were the paint is running under the tape,,try this. White/clear, tape it/clear then red. That way if you have over spray you can buff it with out going deep in too the paint. Note! between each layer of paint do a lite sanding with 1000 or 1500 paper, just too ruff up the paint so the next step will stick. When all done go over it with clear sand and buff. that is the way did it on the attention getting Pete, the one with all the colors. sound hard it's not. This does take up lots of time Some are using Tammie/tammeia tape (HELP) I can't get it here so I use the green painters tape from wall- mart.

I use Tamiya tape for all my "crisp" lines and after I paint a color and tape it off for the second color, I spray the first color again around the tape and let it become sticky then spray the next color. Seems to keep the second color from bleeding under the tape. But..............I'm still using rattle cans so I really need to step up to an air brush. I have a cheap one but have never tried it.

I use the clear trick also, but it didn't work last time .My fault not the system Its a good idea to cut a new edge for a crisper edge. I haven't looked where to buy this yet,but I understand its the same as tamiyia tape but in bulk
