Lot of plastic and rubber ;D The cabine with a little fill of primer for the chinks. The nails on the roof arte gonna be replace with 3D decals from Archer. For this truck I have buy the pe set from CTM. I't a very nice set to work with. I'ts make youre kit nice and beautiful. The decals from Modeltrucking.com dry fit of the frontgrill. The mash at the front is also gonna be replaced. The grill support bar. Later on there will be glued together with the undergrill The dashboard meters are very detailed. Eddy, Sounds to me like you have a real plan for this build. And have the aftermarket parts all lined up. The one thing that everyone complains about it that seam in the two piece cab. I think you have solved that problem.

Thanks for the comments guys Now the Western Star is almost ready ( just waiting for the chains and AMT trailer) I pickt up this project. The last few days I have been working very hard on this one. ;D The nails on the roof are replaced. ( great stuff to work with Archer 3D decals) The plastic grabhandles are been replace by real-steal one's The stacks ar gonna be replace by aluminium one's. The next weeks this is gonna be airbrushed. (Primer) Last month this trailer was for sale on E Bay. And now it is mine ;D It's the Indy car transporter from AMT/ERTL assembled in 1991. And this is the result of 30 years untouched waiting in the kit box Have anyone an idea how this problem can be solved? Or shall I just glued it together? Well, thats the update for now. Greets, Eddy

Nice update on the reworked details!
Eddy, you might want to put the warped part in hot water and bend it back. Hope it works out well for you, and that you'll get it in the right shape again. Gawd, I hate it when parts warp...

Eddy,
What I do with warpped parts such as this is run hot tap water in a large pan and then place the part in the water. The heat will soften it but will not melt it, to where you can then put it on a flat surface and place a weight on top of it. The part in the water will get evenly heated all around instead of just in pklaces like using a hair dryer or some other means.
