This is a combination of a 1/25 scale Die-cast B-61 wrecker from 1st gear & a resin cab Mack C-600 from AITM. pretty straight forward as the C-600 cab & hood unit fits perfect on the diecast chassis. The only real pain in the but was taking the wrecker unit apart & removing the paint (black) & all of the "rope" to get the new coat of Mack red on. Funny, i set it aside to let the paint fully cure & it wound up in a box for the last year.... Ap40 Attachments:

Now that is one cool rig. Its amazing what a person can do with the diecast models which are on the market by tearing down and rebuilding, by adding here and there . GREAT Idea there Rick.

William,
Thanks, that wrecker body is pretty nice on its own. I swapped a guy some old Peterbilt kit (T-500) for 3 of just the wrecker body's. They will work with any chassis. still want to do one on a Brockway or a Diamond Reo

I really like that style of Mack cabs. Came out great and it didn't get hurt a bit in the box for a year. Mike

Great looking hooker there Rick!! You got to figure that the paint is well cured . No worry about finger prints to sand away and repaint! ;-)) Be Well Gator

Resin & die cast.......so that's what "multimedia project" means! Good combination of parts to build a unique truck, the C-series Macks weren't that numerous (around 1,500 built according to one of my Mack books) and I rather like the "look" of them.
