Thought I would break the ice and post a few pics of the logging equipment which I have photographed over the years here in Coos County, Oregon, where I live. Hope you enjoy them. D7 Cat Grapple Skidder Skyline Carriage used on a yarder for yarding in turns to the landing. The unit is self propelled and controlled from by the Yarder Operators control cabin. 1938 Cat D8 used for skidding turns. Small yarding tower build on a Clark wheeled Skidder Old EUC Quarry truck used up in the Smith River area, for logging road maintenance. Well used Mack R long logger which was driven and owned by Sam Cribbens of Bridge, Oregon. Cat 988 wheeled loader used by Coos Trucking, Coos Bay Oregon. Nicely decked out K whopper which is part of the display at the truck Museum located in Brookes, Oregon. The trailer is a Peerless Roadrunner class.

I love that Kw I have seen it many times at both the logging conference, and at Brooks Oregon where a great truck and cat museum is located. The D8 I think lives at Brooks also, really like those old cats. Dave

This old Wagoner worked at a alder mill up smith river out of Reedsport Oregon. The company that owned it went under and last I knew it met the scrappers torch kinda sucks another old machine cut into pieces instead of preserved. Mark Attachments:
