very nice loader! please post updated pix when you make the changes.
William,I have seen the ones you posted working in junk yards the only difference is they have a magnet and then I have seen the grapple hooks too.depending on what is being loaded or unloaded.

Excellent build. Those truck mounted loaders started showing up in my area in the mid 60s.
