Hey Gator, Yea I got lucky with the axle, I had bought that way back when I was doing my heavy hauler and as it turns out, it fit this one very nicely. Same molded in black and eveything. It looks like part of the kit. But the bed is one of those quarry type beds. I don't care much for it as I don't see me having a use for it. But I will send you that pic. Hey Joris, Thanks guy, I am waiting on the tanks to get back before I can continue with this. But I will continue... Kerry

The dump box is the "standard" Italeri rock body that first appeared in the DAF N2800 kit. this is the same box that i used on my Mack DM-886SX dump. The best way to get a modern box for that Freightshaker is to scratch one. Ap40

Hey Ap40, your right on the dump body and that is just what I plan to do, build one from scratch. I like this one. Well, something very simular to this. Thats my thoughts Kerry

Kerry,
Real sharp, do you plan on spraying it with Alclad ?? that would certainly make it pop!

Ap, not real sure at the moment but it does sound appealing. The cab is molded in red but I plan to paint it white. The dump body, I really haven't decided yet. Kerry

I do believe that Gary Wallace (GW Trucks) has one of these beds already available in resin...I have seen them...very nice quality...and it would work for 1/24th scale. Here is his email address gwtrucks@yahoo.com

Keep it up Kerry! Cool that you sent the tanks out to be chromed. Looking forward to see them. The wide front tires are cool, as is the lift axle. I need to use those parts myself too someday...
