I built this DR Giant for a collector in Rochester NY about 8 years ago. the AMT kit, with the hood cut & front axle slid back, added 50 mm to the frame, & scratched the dump box. At that time, Ruston still had 2 DR Giants, one with a steel dump box (like this model) & the other with a aluminum box. Ap40 Attachments:

They still got sky blue pavers and graders? Hey Rick how you been? That giant is really sweet and accurate,My brother in law and ex-partner bought the other one, if these were from the syracuse yard, it's now wearing "Pro-Pave " colors, White cab Black box, I think Jim B from chittennango has some pics of it ,pretty cool old Reo's, as you know them ol' girls seen alotta action....Todd  |

Ruston's shop is still busy, lots of new Peterbilt's & they are still running the Autocar ACL64B's. everything is that same powder blue, trucks, trailers, rollers, pavers, excavators. They used to have a shop to the west in Rochester, and they have a bigger shop in North Carolina. Leaving in a few hours for the ATHS national convention in Springfield Massachusetts. Ap40 |

I keep coming back to this one and looking at it. It is a great build. Something is telling me I need to build one. just getting back into building and the projects are starting to pile up........
