So i set up the High mount & the low mount & took photos for you all to see the difference. The low mount would be suitable for a lighter gas powered truck. this also has a shorter hood. 1st is a photo of the low mount cab & hood. Ap40 Attachments:

I purchased from Bob, (he is wonderful to deal with) the low mount KW Needle Nose a few years back for one of my personal projects I hold near and dear to my heart. The casting is nice it does lack the fine details though. I am planning on cutting the hood apart and making it out of brass with the all rivets. And since I love modeling in 1/16 I am withing the next few weeks going to be ordering from www.allamericantoyco.com/kwkit.html (see last pic) I own a 1949 Kenworth Model 721 fire engine, a retired Seattle FD #31. It has a series 400 Hall-Scott 1091 cubic inch SOHC, 4 speed Spicer Tranny, 750 GPM Hale fire pump and 1000 gallon water tank. Purchased in 2000 from Metaline FD in north eastern WA state, and drove it back to Pittsburgh, PA where I was a paid firefighter for a smaller borough fire department. Taken at my departments annual parade one week after I brought it back. The two ladies are local TV news casters. Two years after I purchased new paint and gold leaf back to when Seattle FD owner her. Hall-Scott series 400 I believe this is my rig back when Seattle took delivery from the factory and they were pump testing to certify the pumpbefore putting it in service. I have almost all the maintenance records for this truck in a 3" ring binder. My other baby I was assigned to drive, 1969 American LaFrance City Service ladder truck with 85' Ladder, Detroit 6-71 Deisel, 5 Speed Fuller, 750 GPM American Lafrance fire pump and 500 gallon tank. You can use AMT ladder truck and make this one. I have one started but it still sits waiting to be completed. Going to order just the cab, fender, grill then kit-bash the rest. It's a bit pricey but looks awesome and have to have.
