I kind of hate to post my old builds because most of them are not up to today's building or accuracy standards. However, I am proud of them and I am getting them down off the shelf one at a time clean and repair. This one has the IMC water tank on the back. I did build this one years ago and have posted it on the commercial truck forum. I hope you don't mind a repeat. The Union Pacific Railroad does use a few IH trucks. They are all white. I thought it needed a little more color, so the frame and front fenders are black. It is not a prototype, but they should have used one like it!!! I can see it needs some mud flaps, black backgrounds on the name plates and a fine screen in the grill..relaxing evenings work. I hope you enjoy it.

Robert, Nice build, the old milk body looks right at home on the back of the Paystar.

These old tankers are my favoritee builds. Like the ones in logging you are free just to do anything with them and they come out right. This build is right on!!! Great use of both models from ERTL and IMC. Just to cool!!!

Thank your for the comments!!!!
Jim: The frame was not stretched. This IH 5000 was originally a cement mixer.
wazzakw : Union Pacific does tend to keep their trucks clean. I have seen a lot of them with bent fenders or missing sheet metal....and they repaint or wash the damage until they get it in for repair. Kind of weird. I live in a Union Pacific railroad town. I see a lot of their equipment. One of our truck repair places always has at least one of their heavy trucks or cranes in for maintenance. BUT the modeling truth be told, my weathering skills are non-existant.

It just came from the upfitter, or back from the shop then. Railroad equipment gets a lot of abuse, I know. Nevertheless, it is a great build!
