Hi All, Once again I have been blown away by the quality of the builds you guys have been up to, so while I am still gathering parts for my International Acco logger, (Thanks Rick) I feel compelled to show one I am currently working on, It is based on the A&N Argosy cab, and Italeri donor chassis.. All in primer, and a quick mockup, but It's all Green now, and I've been busy with the mountains of white and black pinstriping so It will closely resemble this truck when finished, and will have a 4 axle curtainside trailer as well.. more pics to follow shortly Enjoy and happy building. Kelvin It will

I love these Euro-Australian rigs as much as American Loggers. For rigs there is nothing that can't be done to make a nice custom home away from on wheels or just plain workin rig. I guess I must have collected up about two hundred picture of them and never tire of seeing them. Great start on this build and I for one will be following it to the end. Love that lime green in the photo of the 1:1 at the bottom. Thanks for posting.

I love the look of the NZ trucks, just still not a big fan of the Argosy. How is the kit? say compared to other resin kits or plastic?

Kelvin, I really like the kit. And you have a lot of pinstriping to do. Where did you get the Cab? Looking fprward to seeing this one dressed out!

Thanks Guys, The cab is from Andrey at A&N, an-modeltrucks.com/?wpcopage=2This resin transkit is from the first casting batch (if you have not been following along elsewhere, this will be the 3rd caster he has used), ..I found the white resin used can be very brittle, and easily broken on smaller parts, (or could be my big dumb hands) but overall fit and out of the box finish is really good...the pinstriping i'm using is from Auslowe, and patience is a major requirement!!! William, the green is slightly darker than in that pic, depending on your screen resolution and settings, I would call it the same as a 'granny smith' apple...should be more like this.. Cheers Kelvin

HI Rick, yea, could be, and if so a good reason to change casting companies, as the chassis sideskirts need to be purchased as part of the American COE set, these were cast by the new company and were made of the familiar cream resin.

WOW Great truck you build out there. Nice color to!! I really love these Australian cabovers. It's a pity they are so expensive to buy. Are you gonna build a trailer beyond it? Eddy
