Thought I had better make an update on Ole Bigfoot. I have been waiting for the wheels and tires from AITM which finally came in and low and behold I have to make another order. The holidays and other things gong on got me rattled and I didn't order enough to go around. But from the photos you cane get the idea of the size of the rig. Still have a little more work to do on it but is coming along. Still waiting for a good day to paint them and mount the 5 Hole steel rims in them. William

Interesting tires. Must be resin and the wheels are............................? Mike The tires and wheels are resin, from AITM. They are the offer tires from the site and the rims are a set of trials made up to fit these tires. Pretty awsome looking I think. William

Had a chance with the rain and all to sit down and paint and weather the tires and paint the rims for ole Bigfoot. I still have to order a couple more tires and rims but that will be later. The tires did what I wanted and raised this unit up to a heavy Redwood hauler, like those I remember from back inn the Early 60's and Late 70's running in Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity county of California. They were brutes and you really didn't want to be on the road in civy vehicle when they were running. any who, here is Bigfoot with the wheels and tires mounted and the trailer in the saddle back haul position. Mike,
I shot em with Black primer and then started washing them over with a concrete colored acrylic paint, until I got them looking like real tires. I also used a razer knife and put gouges in the sides of them to give them a worn look and sanded down the edge of the tread for a more rounded and used look.

Ahhh, those would be the 14 x24 boots, with 5 hole fronts & trailer, and planetaries on the truck drives. Back when I still owned & operated RNK conversions, I patterned those and many more.
William, they look great on the bigfoot!

Hey William, That is one bad azz rig! And with the scratch built pit fenders and the big wheelsa and tires, really puts it over the top! But i would suggest the next time you order rims and tires take you shoes off to make sure you have the count right!!! :-)) Hey I just couldn't resist that one bro!~
Be Well Gator
