Here is a old build up of a Ford LTL-9000 wrecker. On the Italeri Western Star chassis with a resin Pine Crest cab & hood. The model was done about 2 years before Italeri released there version of the LTL. It has a 8V-92T for power. the Bro wrecker unit was marketed in the US by Vulcan as a 940. These photos was taken after it was glued back together as it took a header down a stair case as i tripped over one of the dogs....... Ap40 Attachments:

The big LTL is one of Ford's best looking trucks! One of the toughest ones as well to have survived the l-o-n-g drop downstairs.......

when i was gluing it back together i was unable to fix the cab, as it shattered. Pine crest had very brittle resin. so i used a LN cab from the parts box. the hood only broke in to 6 pcs, and a fresh coat of paint fixed that.
But it is really over due for a full on rebuild.

I want to build an LTL-9000 at some point. Almost bought the Italeri one a couple of weeks ago, but at $85 it was out of my price range that day because I already had a couple hundred bucks in supplies alone.
