great workmanship Doug!
I am surprised that KW has the DEF tank right next to the DPF, normally it would be on the opposite side of the chassis.
Which resin hood did you start with? Great to see the corrections being done.

Hi, Kenworth has multiple set ups for the DEF and DPF. That is P&P 's cab, GW Trucks hood and Qtr fenders. Thanks Doug.

Pretty nice. I didn't know KW still offered the flat windshields on their cabs.

Really nice work you are doing Doug, looking really good. I do have one question, what does the def and the dpf stand for, and what is the function. I would guess it has something to do with emissions control. Dave

Hi. Yes Emisions. DEF is a urea-based chemical reactant designed specifically for use in SCR systems to reduce NOx emissions. A diesel particulate filter (or DPF) is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine. Just pulled these off interent. Thanks Doug. Really nice work you are doing Doug, looking really good. I do have one question, what does the def and the dpf stand for, and what is the function.
