This is the last of my tractor dios. It is a winter scene set up to to display the Jeep Grand Cherokee and other models that would look at home in a pile of snow. The Massey is one of Ertl’s kits that I acquired at a toy show somewhere as a built up glue bomb. The sled is a Perry’s Resin kit, The Jeep is a Tamiya kit and the Ford pickup is an AMT kit. The blower is scratch built. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks Carl And an overview

First and third photos are especially well done - if they weren't posted here you'd swear they were taken outdoors of 1:1 folks.

Okay! Cut to the chase. What did you use for snow? Mike

Thanks Guys for all the kind words. The snow is a base of blue Styrofoam with white bead board foam broken up to form the banks. I used drywall compound to fill in some of the gaps. The foot prints and tire tracks were cut in with a hot soldering iron. The snowmobile tracks were pressed in by running a gear along the track. The whole thing was painted with white latex paint as the base colour. I then used various shades and textures of white paint to high light various areas. I used a bit of glitter on undisturbed areas to simulate frost. finally I used window decorating spray snow fogged on from about 3 feet away. This is what the base looked like before any paint. I also discovered that one should not use water based markers to layout designs under white latex paint. It bleeds through many layers of paint Thanks Carl
