Hi guys, I thought this is the right place for such a model. Hope I'm not wrong. Wish to make this model in 48th, in first place, based on some considerations. Except this pict, I have a sort of left side view - let's say good enough. And pics from another modelling forum of a WIP same Marion in 1/20 scale. I dare to have a demand to all of you - does anybody has line drawings, sketches or pics of any kind regarding this model or other similar like Bucyrus, Erie, Lima, Loraine or whatever. Anything will be very much appreciated, for sure. I already have a couple of parts in progress. Pics a little bit later, I'm not at home for about a week. Much oblige, in any case. BTW - I have seen in this section some MODELS. Well done, no doubt, and very spectacular. All my congrats ! And don't be afraid - I'll have some questions for some models, I'm deeply interested. And one more thing - would be a kind of interest in a 1/24-1/25 scale model of such steam shovel ? Would be interesting for me some kind of poll, on PM or email, to make me an idea. Much oblige, as well. Cheers, Alex

William, thanks so much for the pics sent. Once I'll be home, I'll start the study on them. The steam tower skidder is quite a piece of machine, very interesting for me.
Gator, indeed, I'm speaking of a resin kit. We're thinking at some kind of multi media kit, but we'll see. Will be first a 48th scale kit.
Cheers, Alex

Cheers, Alex H,mmm, I wonder what ever happened with this project? Sounds like he was referring to my build Of the Model 28 completed in 2011. I posted a complete build log on Uncle Russ's forum And it can still be seen here ---- www.finescalerr.com/smf/index.php?topic=693.0Here is one picture I still have on my computer. All scratch built except for a few fittings. Rick
