This may be a hard one to pull off but I am going to give it a shot.
I have the Italeri Baywatch Western Star an trailer. I am thinking of building a Day cab version of the truck with a headache rack and long chassis and some how converting the trailer to a 48-53 foot chip trailer with Canadian spread axles.
Please give me your ideas and comments

I would like to build a chip trailer but I believe that I would start from scratch. The floor and side walls are so much different than a normal semi. I have even looked for sites where I could get some lay outs with no success. Mike

As soon as the weather here in Oregon gets better I am going to see if Loghauler can get permission to take me to the shop where he works so I can get a bunch of walk around pics of their trailers. I just completed a walking floor unit and will be posting it soon. When I get some other pics I will post a few on the site for some Ideas to help out. They are a totally different breed of trailer than a lot of people are used to seeing every day.
