I have been working on this as time allows. It started with a Italeri Pete 378 for the donor. This Pete is being converted to a 379. The conversion is from Gary Wallace (AKA GW trucks). Gary's conversions comes with, hood, Grill, cab mounts and pucks to sit on the cab mounts and the hood hinges. With this being made into a day cab I 'm using Gary's rear cab panel "Small window" he does make the large window rear panel as well. The chrome was stripped from the following parts, battery box/steps rear light bar and fuel tanks. I 'm using Jamie's Mo aluminum 10 hole Budd's for the 22" tires. The following pics show the cab mocked up I still have to mock up the rear cab mount and the wheels and battery box painted in Alclad. Thanks

Dennis I prime the piece with M/M primer use Alclad gloss black after dry shoot the ALClad polished aluminum. The trick is not to put to much top coat on the black has to show through and that's what gives it the shine. This is how I been doing it. Plastic Crafters has a tutorial on going this.
Thanks

Aperture value, wide open setting, plenty of light!! Or A-DEP mode, not sure if your camera has it. Looks great Johnny Cash!
