Here's a shot of a compensator "Bull Prick". Hosted on FotkiNow most of you can see how this works in a turn. When straight down the road the Bull Prick is all the way in. Mike

Ryan; I think I would build a step or small platform on the top of the water tank. When these were used, we also had "head loaders" the fella stood on the truck and signaled the driver or operator to go ahead or back plus he branded the logs with a branding hammer. Mike

Mikes right about the step. I plum forgot about that step which some of these monsters had on them. Would be a welcome addition to the detail. Thanks Mike for the prehistoric memories. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well I have got a little work done today. Got the perch built on top of the water tank and some lines ran and now the whole truck is sitting in my shop letting a coat of primer dry. I will post pics later.

Dang forgot to take the pics. Primer done and the first coats of the Macmillan Bloedel inspired paint job is already laid down.
