Tyson, I think that would be a pretty good location. But I think it needs to be upright. Instead of the way you have it. I am not sure it would work being horizontal??? But the truck is looking good.

Be Well Gator It does not matter how it is mounted, vertical, at an angle, or horizontal. Just need to have enough clearance to pull the top & the filter element for service. Ap40

Ap40 Ok, I wasn't really sure about that. Now I know, I can use that info down the road.:-)) Be Well Gator

Decided to slap a bit of colour on it. Tired of looking at all that white. I hate doing intricate, i.e. neat and tidy, paint jobs because I'm terrible at it but I decided I might as well, since I'm putting so much effort into everything else on this one. I'll also be trying some pinstriping by hand. I can already see that being a disaster.

I like the extra lights on the radiator protector. And the large Autocar logo.

Yeah. It's just the leftover extra bit from the Bill Signs Pete. I didn't like that it was so wide it hung over both edges of the sleeper, and it had no backside. I stripped the chrome, chopped out the redundant middle door, and shortened the width by, I think it was, three scale inches. Then I built sides, back and bottom so the boxes actually look like full, enclosed boxes, and used the extra door to scrap into the parts to make the sleeper plate and base. Used Plasto to sculpt some weld lines and topped it off with a spray of stainless steel buffing metalizer.
