I use a Alps MD-1500 printer with 8.5X11 clear water slide decal sheets to print my decals. The Apls uses 4 ribbon cartridges instead of ink. Only problems are it is Windows XP based and they stopped making the Alps brand in 2000, parts and supplies are getting a bit hard to find but they are out there. I went to school for graphics arts so that helps me in designing my own work. You can print all colors including white, gold, silver and metallic colors. If you can find one pick it up it really is a good printer. Ebay has them and they can be quit high in price but worth it if you get one. I am not even going to mention how I got mine, but luck was on my side. Here is an my latest decals I printed using metallic gold, white, cyan, yellow, magenta and black: 1/16 W90 oil field winch truckl logo. can you still make gold decals? Looking for the European lion,
