Rick,
I have been studying this model and finally realized where I had seen these units before back in my prehistoric days. They had them at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa when I was stationed there inj the Army. Really a nice build of an unusual piece of equipment.

How much does that thing way I wonder? Ryan, Fully ballasted, just under a 1/4 million pounds. Which gives it enough tractive effort to move the C-5A with a full payload. Ap40

Thanks William, I do tend to gravitate towards the odd & unusual for modeling subjects. I still have several civilian airport ramp equipment items to model. Ap40

Oshkosh built a another pushback, smaller and simpler, screams to be modeled as well.
Then there is the civiliam types, my favorite being the Hough Paymover T-500, with a 8V-92T & allison combo.
