The planets must be aligned properly, or something because I actually managed to finish a truck! Wow! Anyway, here is my version of the Revell 1937 Ford delivery truck. I only built this guy to see how the kit was because my son who turned 8 in May wanted a glue kit. I wasn't sure what kit to get, because he's also been hounding me for an ambulance kit. Since I wasn't going to spring for a SSB Resin kit for an 8 year old, I was at a loss. The Revell issued this kit & I thought it would be perfect. I have to admit that there are some tricky parts, but I think we'll be able to handle them together. My version is the Sexton Foods version with two-tone Tamiya Green over Dark Green. It's essentially "box-stock", but hey, it's done!

Man that came out nice! What a nice vintage model, might make for a neat little crummy for a loggers camp in a future life!

Thanks, Rick. I suppose one could always make it into a "Roach Coach". How's this for a "period correct" photo:

Jim, That looks really nice! I love the old sedan delivery trucks. They make good surf safari trucks.

Thanks, Rick. I suppose one could always make it into a "Roach Coach". How's this for a "period correct" photo: Well the B&W helps, but a more realistic back drop would do wonders! Ap40

Thanks, Dave.
Rick, I've been wanting to make some sort of photo booth/diorama/backdrop thing; I just haven't gotten around to it.

To be honest Jim, A good photo back drop has been on my list of "things to build" for a long time. These days it is still the inside corner of a large cardboard box. THe problem i keep running into is where to keep it once it is built. LOL I know we have a few others here who knock it out of the park with the time & staging of the model (Rob & Alian), but some of us are more into the model & less about the photo! HA
