This is I believe the 1977 issue of this cabover from Matchbox. I stretched the frame and added home cast resin rear drivers to it. I made the Sherman Brothers decals from a picture of their logo off the net. They are a heavy haul company based just north of Eugene, OR on I-5. I built the truck to represent one of the ones I used to see in the late 70's as a kid. It was really fun masking off those stripes. I also scratch built a new headache rack and some resin tool boxes. The trailer is the reissue ERTL extend frame Great Dane trailer. I added wheels from an AMT Peerless logging trailer instead of using the kit rims. In addition the beam load is from several of the AMT kits. Cheers: Bill

Bill, That is a real nice looking rig. And one with a load I can relate a little better with. Though if it was a load of pipe.....! hey we all couldn't work in the woods!!

Hey Bill, that is really one beautiful build. Clean, neat and the paint job is fantastic. Not usually a cab-over fan but this one is very nice. I like the color and the details you added. Very sharp looking truck Kerry

Nice job. I got a frieghtliner as part of the Gold medal I got from the Scania build of the heavy haul but I had to sell it because I did not feel the vibe of actually building it. I see you have a done a great job putting it together.
