Well, I am very late to this party, your building skills are awesome, I plowed snow here in British Columbia for 38 years, and I think you have the sander nailed, although there are two missing items, the one thing that is essential is a holder for a shovel,( goon spoon, muck stick etc) as one needs that to dig frozen lumps out of the sander chute that the last guy loaded ..... AND most importantly about a 1/4 yard of sand spilled on the rear fenders.................. as don't we know ALL operators can load a truck properly.... we had a guy get a ticket one time from D.O.T. for having sand on the rear fenders and spilled into the tire chains hanging on the side....$ 250.00 later the truck was cleaned off ! Excellent job.... I like it a LOT, do you have the plans and measurements or did you build it out of your head?? I'd love to have one mounted on a tandem.....this type of sander is going by the way side here in B.C. due to the companies now buying Tenco Boxes, which I'm sure all you guys know about....

Hey Doug, I'm in Nelson, and no, had NO idea bout the guy in Quebec, if I googled his name do you think I will find him? My wife Cathy is from Victoria, went to Esquimalt,Lampson Street........... he dad was in the Navy...... I heard over the weekend I 'may' get a phone call to ask if I might go back to work for the up coming winter, they are so short of guys..... not sure I really want to to that..LOL!! I will try the guy in Quebec, but if I can't find him, would you send me his address?
Jeff p.s sorry or the late reply, was giving my daughter away at her wedding this past weekend...
