I'm putting this re-build in because I think it shows how you can come up with a totally different truck from the same old kits. I bought this one built, the Post Office took it apart in the mail and I detailed it before I re-built it. I thought the idea of a Mack dump sounded good, so when I saw it in a for sale list, I bought it. I figured I would strip it down and start over, but it is a pretty nice build. I have decided to leave the paint alone and just detail it out. I like it's looks. I have already painted the lights/reflectors and glued most of the chrome back on before taking the picture. It is a combination of the Mack R600 and the Autocar dump. I would like to paint the windshield wipers and gasket around the windshield, but the clear parts were glued in to well to snap out without damage. My hands are a little shaky right now, so the masking and extra detail will have to wait. I don't know who did the original build, but it was a nice one.

That is one nice looking Mack. If you can't get the glass out you might try using a Sharpie black marker for the window gasket. Although its more of a glossy black rather than a flat its really easy to use and if you get some on the glass I use a q tip dabbed with Isopropanol(Isopropyl alcohol) 99% found in your local drug store and this will take off the marker without damaging the glass.
