Decided to finally build this. I have had it for a while. shortened the frame by 1-3/4. Added custom grill, going to use the flarings that come on the truck. Adding some full wheel fenders.

Looks like a great project. Models by Dave is the only one making a day cab for the Lonestar & he now has one for the Prostar. modelsbydave.com/ send him a email for pricing information as they are not listed on his web site. Highly recommended. Ap40

Well trying to decide if I want to paint all the chrome to match the truck, or leave all the chrome alone and just build it like my other one. Any ideas welcome!!

Good looking project!! I have the same cab, but I've been lazy for a year. Maybe this is the inspiration I need.

Cool project! I like the day cab version of this truck, and even like the side fairings to a degree. but I am not a big fan of that style of fenders. Having said that, I think this will make a good looking truck.

I had to rework the exhaust as I had to keep it above frame since I used the full length tanks. I still have to extend the drop pipe to the back of the muffler than it'll be done.

Great build, a body colored front bumper to match the rear fenders along with a set of the Italeri super single (trailer) tires on the front would make that rig super killer. Love the color too. I think you just convinced me to turn my Lonestar into a day cab, if I don't use the kit for a scratch built CAT CT660 rig. Looking forward to seeing her with all her bells on. Cheers, JIMMY
