I bought this one on eBay for cheap. I like the Johan kits, but the prices have gotten a bit high, so when I saw this one with no bids, I pounced!!
It was a nicely built model, but it needed a lot of detail work. I took it totally apart and started over.
The interior was detailed, but I installed it before I got any pictures. I painted all of the lights, added chrome foil, gave the hub caps & grill a black wash, dry brushed the Toronado names on the body silver,and totally re-did the engine compartment (pic to follow-I need to add the spark plug wires.) The body was polished and waxed to brighten up the old original paint.
Taking pictures of my builds is now a part of my building process. It shows me areas that I need to fix or do a better job on. I see that I have a front wheel that leans a little. easy fix.
